This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems, a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation's intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our team of more than 7,000 professionals worldwide delivers all-domain expertise and advanced technologies in service of mission partners across the globe. Our cyber professionals are on the cutting edge of cyberspace operations, delivering options and effects for our nation in an ever-changing threat environment. Our team provides a full range of expertise and capabilities across the spectrum of cyberspace operations. The Warfare Systems team is currently seeking a Technical Writer/Editor in support of an exciting new effort supporting one of our clients that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise. This contract supports ongoing operations within a combatant command. During periods of conflict, crisis, or other significant operational shifts, mission requirements may change rapidly. Additionally, when staffing adjustments occur, work schedules may need to be modified to maintain essential coverage. Accordingly, work shifts may be adjusted based on customer requirements. Bachelors degree in a related field Flexibility to adjust shifts as needed to cover 24x7 operations Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration Preferred Requirements
