Event Management Intern
Position: Event Management Summer Internship Reports To: General Manager of the Bayfront Convention Center Facility: Rebich Investments Amphitheater Hourly Range: Paid Opportunity / Complementary housing available Duration: May 2026 August 2026 Who We Are: We are the hub of Erie's spectacular downtown entertainment and cultural district, operating four unique venues right in the heart of downtown. At Erie Events, we are committed to feeding the future by providing opportunities for students to learn and grow through our paid internship program Position Summary: The Event Management Internship will assist the General Manager of the Bayfront Convention Center and Director of Business Development with the management of Event Services and Facility Operations of Rebich Investments Amphitheater. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a two-or four-year college with a degree in sports or event management program. Flexible schedule and available to work long hours, holidays, and Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment. Responsibilities: This internship will assist with learning functions on and offsite ranging from general office duties, to event production, sales, hospitality, security, and operations at Rebich Investments Amphitheater. This internship will get a taste of the various roles and responsibilities required to prepare for and execute ticketed and non-ticketed events. The Event Management intern will provide onsite event support to the manager on duty. He/she will attend client meetings, and finals walk throughs to understand safety & event details. The Events Management intern is required to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate business needs.
