Account Transfer Associate
The Account Transfer Associate is responsible for facilitating the external transfer of client assets by leveraging skills acquired through experience and ongoing training. This role includes researching and resolving complex issues, monitoring workflow for efficiency, and maintaining accurate departmental metrics. The associate also provides standard client support services by assisting internal associates and/or Financial Advisors in addressing and resolving escalated inquiries. They regularly engage with internal customers, recommending solutions to moderately complex problems and ensuring a high standard of professionalism and service. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a client-first mindset when delivering operational support across teams. This position follows a hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds
flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be three per week averaging 12 days per month in our St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office. Onsite Training Requirement: First 30 days required to be onsite Monday-Thursday. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving client requests to transfer accounts to and from contra firms, screening incoming or outgoing client requests and verifying all necessary legal documentation that accompanies the client signed documents, scrutinizing information contained in all types of transfer forms and letters of authorization, assisting with various requests for information, referring more complex matters to colleagues, answering the telephone and assisting callers or those making varied inquiries by email or mail with any basic requests for information, directing more complex matters to colleagues, as necessary, carrying out standard customer service activities and handling simple customer inquiries, conducting data entry into company systems, and reviewing and verifying the information to ensure accuracy and accessibility. This includes handling and documenting counter transactions, maintaining files and records, organizing own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities, following a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct, developing and maintaining excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Skills include using clear and effective verbal communications skills under supervision to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies, supporting business processes under supervision by applying an understanding and effective use of standard office equipment and standard software packages, working under supervision to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements, working to make every customer interaction positive by leaving the customer feeling understood, appreciated, and confident in the organization's ability, working to navigate customer conversations by leveraging the four parts of a service conversation: open, learn, reply, and close, working under supervision to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives, working to connect with customers to strengthen the relationship, meeting personal needs through positive customer experiences, working under supervision to analyze data from multiple sources to draw appropriate conclusions and make suitable recommendations, receiving, monitoring and dealing with allocated customers at an elementary level, working under supervision, applying understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions under supervision, working under supervision to meet high customer service standards, working to understand and effectively operate all customer management systems, working under supervision to perform data analysis for use in reports to help guide decision making, working under supervision to select, deploy and get the best results from the most appropriate office system. Education: Bachelor's: Accounting, Bachelor's: Business Administration, Bachelor's: Finance, High School (HS) (Required). Work Experience: General Experience - 4 to 6 months.
