Loan Servicing Specialist
Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team. This role will be working on-site. Performs a wide variety of loan servicing tasks related to loan operations and/or processing, from minor to complex processes or functions. Proactively identifies issues or needed changes, recommends resolution, and participates in quality improvement efforts. Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure. Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Utilizes multiple system applications. Assists in multiple areas of department in the completion of duties as directed by management. What you will do: Loan file management, to include scanning and retrieval of documents from various applications/sources that assist with production and audit requests. Resolves any loan exceptions or corrections, research payment issues and discrepancies. Provide callback support of processors daily work and tickler management as assigned. Provides prompt, courteous and excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Other duties as assigned.
