CBS News Miami is looking for a highly talented video editor/writer with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment. Overview and responsibilities: Candidate must have previous non-linear editing experience working in a fast-paced television news environment. Previous writing experience preferred. Must be detail-oriented, and deadline driven with minimal supervision. Experience with Grass Valley Edius editing system, Avid iNEWS a plus. Editor must be a creative and poised team player who can juggle multiple projects at once. Candidate must be flexible with work schedule, and willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed. Please submit links to demo reel demonstrating abilities.
