Job Summary
The Sales Operations Coordinator supports the sales team by helping manage day to day sales administrative and customer support activities. This role assists with order processing, customer communication, and coordination across departments to ensure orders are handled accurately and on time.
This is an entry level position ideal for someone looking to build a career in sales operations, customer service, or business operations within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Administration
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks related to the sales process from quotation through order fulfillment.
• Assist with order entry, order acknowledgements, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Help prepare and organize sales documentation, contracts, and reports.
• Ensure sales data, customer information, and order details are accurate and up to date.
Customer Communication & Support
• Respond to customer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide customers with basic order status, delivery updates, and general sales support.
• Communicate customer questions or issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
• Assist in gathering information across departments to support customer inquiries.
Cross Functional Coordination
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting to support order processing and delivery.
• Assist with coordinating shipments and documentation to help meet monthly shipment and revenue goals.
• Support month end activities, including helping clear shipments from the dock.
Learning, Reporting & Improvement
• Assist with basic sales reports and data tracking.
• Learn sales operations processes and systems through hands on experience and training.
• Share customer feedback and observations with the team and management.
• Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Education & Experience
• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or office operations preferred.
• Manufacturing or operations experience is a plus but not required.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• Team oriented mindset with a positive, "can do" attitude.
• Professional, reliable, and customer focused.
Pay Details:
$24.00 to $28.84 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
