
Human Resources Business Partner

Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for day-to-day HR activities at the assigned location. This person will be a true partner to the business and employees and will work very closely with departmental leaders to ensure compliance and adherence to local and federal laws. The local HR Business Partner is responsible for leading the implementation and observance of HR policy and procedure.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates knowledge of HR practices, guidelines and regulations to monitor and provide advice regarding compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and Company policies, procedures and processes.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Provides advice to management and responds to employee inquiries
Engages all levels of internal customers in assigned facilities in activities, meetings, special events and handles issues and questions.
Coach leaders on the link between behaviors and culture while implementing cultural standards into HR practices, processes, and ways of working.
Collaborates with operational leaders to develop strategic plans and actions to reduce voluntary turnover to goal and increase employee engagement.
Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
Participates in HR Assessments as assigned and follows-up/monitors action plans.
May be involved in projects, such as annual merit process, to deliver guidance and assistance
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills Requirements :
5-8 years Human Resources Experience
3-5 years Employee Relations Experience (Must)
Fluency in Employment Law on a City, State and Federal level (California Emp. Law - Must)
Strong Business Acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
Ability to successfully present information to a group
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Incredible organizational and prioritization skills
Education/Certifications Requirements :
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
Preferred :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
Travel Requirements Up to 5% Travel Required
Location This is a hybrid role based out of our San Diego, CA office. As a hybrid role, you will be working onsite 3 days a week.
