In-House Legal Counsel

As In-House Legal Counsel you will join a growing legal department in Miami, South Florida. Working with senior leadership and business stakeholders, you will provide strategic legal advice and support on a variety of corporate and commercial matters. This role offers a significant impact in a fast‑paced legal department.
Responsibilities
Assist the legal team with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and gathering signatures for legal documents.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations within this publicly traded organization.
Collaborate with external counsel as needed.
Maintain the legal department's database, templates, and standard contracts.
Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize risks and protect company interests.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
Manage documents, contract tracking, filing, and other legal/contract administration.

Profile
A U.S. law degree from an accredited institution.
Admitted to the New York State Bar.
At least 4+ years of private practice or combined law firm and in‑house corporate/commercial legal experience.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication and collaborative approach.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Eager to learn.
Spanish or Portuguese language skills highly desirable.
Right to work in the U.S. now and indefinitely; no sponsorship available.
