Overview We are seeking a VP, Creative Strategy & Insights to direct and deliver strategic work across multiple accounts. A successful candidate will excel at making the complex simple, will have a good understanding of how creative ideas travel into today’s complex media, social and consumer worlds, and is a manager that can effectively lead, delegate, and integrate contributors across teams and workstreams.

As a VP, you’ll bring a balance of efficiency and inspiration to creative briefs, and collaborate closely with our Story leads to keep our creative strategic — and our strategy creative. You’ll also mentor the strategists supporting your remit, striking a balance between delegation and collaboration that challenges and grows them.

About Creative Strategy & Insights (CSI) Creative Strategy & Insights is fully integrated into our entire creative process and supports the development of culture-worthy creative from brief to impact. The CSI team sits within our Shape function, working in close collaboration with our Story and Narrative team to set the foundation for big creative ideas that breakthrough in today’s ever evolving media, social, digital, and consumer landscapes. The team is composed of strategists from a mix of backgrounds—stretching from brand strategists, to social media and platform expertise, to best in class support on insights, analytics and defining creative effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Write efficient, effective, and inspiring creative briefs grounded in original insights, calibrated for cultural relevance, and focused on client outcomes

Identify innovative ways in which messages can come to life today.

Uncover insights, shape ideas, and bridge stories from brands to consumers.

Write GTM frameworks and multi-market comms plans that put our creative work into culture, media, and market in strategically aligned, and impactful, ways

Remain consistently curious and up-to-date on AI and other emerging trends – gathering intel, streamlining insights, and predicting ways of working in the future.

Be an energetic presence who leads by example, thinks a step ahead, and looks for opportunities to grow yourself, your strategists, and our opportunities.

Requirements

10-12 years experience of experience in varied strategic roles (brand, social, planning)

Bachelor’s Degree

Strong desire to redefine and shape something new within this space

Experience leading teams and work streams at all stages of the process

Experience growing and developing teams

Experience simplifying ideas – taking the complex and making it simple

Experience collaborating with creative partners

Willingness to be in the work, not just lead others doing the work

Knowledge of relevant tools and research platforms

Innately curious, open minded, organized, and a self-starter

*The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $160,000 – $190,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
