We’re looking for an experienced
HR Business Partner
to support our growing North America business and play a key role within our global HR team. If you’re passionate about driving people strategies, enabling leaders, and helping build an exceptional employee experience, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across a 400+ employee organization.
About the Role: As the HR Business Partner, you will:
Partner closely with business leaders to deliver strategic HR initiatives that support business goals and enhance the employee experience.
Lead and manage core HR processes including Performance Management, Benefits, Compliance, Employee Relations, Engagement, Talent & Learning, Onboarding, Immigration/Mobility, and Rewards.
Support and execute organization-wide priority projects and change initiatives.
Champion continuous improvement of HR frameworks, policies, and practices.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws while delivering consistent, high‑quality HR support.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership
Build and maintain an effective Business HR strategy aligned with global HR goals.
Provide guidance to leaders on people management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
Coach managers and teams on HR processes, performance, and best practices.
Support ethical, fair, and engaging workplace practices that foster employee wellbeing.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all relevant U.S. federal and state labor laws; California knowledge is a plus.
Provide accurate, timely guidance to stakeholders on HR policies and procedures.
Lead and resolve employee relations cases, including thorough and objective investigations.
Drive consistent application of HR policies and practices across the business.
Employee Experience & Engagement
Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and turn insights into action.
Drive continuous improvement through HR metrics and analytics.
Enhance and support HR programs such as New Hire Orientation, Open Enrollment, and Performance Appraisals.
Learning, Talent & Mobility
Partner with managers to identify training needs and collaborate with L&D on development programs.
Provide counsel on international assignments, relocation, and Global Mobility processes.
Work closely with immigration attorneys and internal mobility teams to manage visa and compliance requirements.
Work with HR colleagues across North America, Europe, and APAC to share knowledge, ensure alignment, and participate in global projects.
Represent the organization within the wider HR community to exchange best practices.
Qualifications
PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SCP certification preferred.
8–10 years of HR generalist and/or HRBP experience.
Strong understanding of U.S. labor law; experience with California requirements is a plus.
Experience managing U.S. immigration matters.
Required Skills
Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into people solutions.
Excellent time management, prioritization, and project management skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic, global environment.
Self-driven, proactive, and able to operate with minimal oversight.
Experience working within multicultural organizations.
Exposure to Canada and/or Mexico HR practices is a plus.
Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and occasionally internationally.
