As Senior Manager – Digital Commercial Strategy, you will design and operationalize hybrid commercial frameworks that enable our digital offerings to thrive in the marketplace. You’ll combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution—building playbooks, driving adoption, and influencing both internal teams and clients to embrace new ways of working. This is a high‑impact global role for a leader who thrives on shaping the future of business models and driving change at scale.

Ideally this role will be based either in Dallas, Texas or Washington, DC but hybrid/remote candidates aligned to other Jacobs office locations will be considered.

Key Responsibilities As a Leader in Digital Commercial Models & Monetization Strategy, you will develop innovative, flexible commercial models that monetize digital solutions while preserving consulting economics. You will look for opportunities to build models that are adaptable across global geographies (US, UK, Middle East, APAC), client segments, and service lines, balancing scalability with customization, continuously refining based on market trends, client feedback, and financial performance.

This is a role that brings together strategy & hands‑on deployment & adoption, you will develop detailed playbooks for each model, translating complex commercial concepts into practical, actionable guidance for global teams.

Contractual frameworks and compliance considerations

Pricing strategies and sales enablement tools

Operational workflows for delivery teams

Internal and external financial processes for accurate margin tracking

You will proactively drive cultural change and secure internal buy‑in at pace and scale, acting as a persuasive change agent to overcome entrenched mindsets and operational inertia. You will

Develop communication strategies that articulate the “why” behind new models—linking monetization to firm growth and client value.

Engage senior leaders and frontline teams through workshops, roadshows, and coaching to build confidence in adopting new approaches.

Address concerns around compliance and risk by clarifying governance and client benefits.

Assemble a cross‑functional, cross‑geography network to serve as advocates and subject matter experts for digital monetization.

This role will provide a platform to influence clients and shape market perception, partnering with client‑facing teams and to position digital commercial models as value‑enhancing, not cost‑adding. You will equip teams with negotiation strategies and messaging to help clients understand the ROI of digital solutions, serving as a trusted advisor in client conversations where traditional fee structures are challenged by digital efficiencies.

You will implement governance structures to ensure consistent application of commercial models across regions and service lines, define KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track adoption, profitability, and client satisfaction and use data‑driven insights to refine models and demonstrate impact to leadership.

You’ll harness market intelligence for continuous innovation, monitoring industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging monetization practices. You’ll identify opportunities to introduce new models or enhance existing ones to maintain competitive advantage and build external relationships with technology partners and industry forums to stay ahead of market evolution.

Here’s what you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, pricing, and business model innovation leadership roles ideally across professional services, Engineering/EPC/A&E sectors

Proven ability to design and implement monetization strategies for digital products and platforms

Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of the profitability drivers within a professional services organization

Experience with pricing strategy, contract structuring, and operational enablement, and excel in stakeholder management and leading change

Ideally you will also have

MBA preferred

Ability to operate as a strategic thinker with a strong bias for execution

Comfortable challenging cultural norms to drive meaningful transformation

Understanding of how to collaborate and influence at scale within a large, complex, global organization

The base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $225,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
