Overview
This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading a North American industrial services business with full P&L responsibility, overseeing sales, field service, parts, and service operations across the U.S. and Canada.
Our client is a global industrial technology and services organization supporting customers in industries such as pulp & paper, energy, and heavy industrial manufacturing. The North American services business supports a large installed base of industrial equipment and facilities through lifecycle services, aftermarket support, improvement projects, and field service operations.
This role functions as a General Manager / Head of Services for North America and is responsible for business growth, operational performance, customer relationships, and leadership development across a multi-location organization.
Key Responsibilities
Full P&L responsibility for the North American services business
Lead regional sales, aftermarket, field service, and workshop operations
Drive profitable growth and execute regional strategy
Support key account relationships and major capital investment projects (CAPEX)
Lead and develop a multi-location leadership team
Improve operational performance, service profitability, and customer satisfaction
Develop and execute growth initiatives, including organic growth and potential acquisitions
Collaborate with global leadership, technology teams, and product organizations
Qualifications
Senior leadership experience in an industrial services, aftermarket, or lifecycle services business
Experience with P&L leadership and business management responsibility
Background in industries such as industrial equipment, energy, pulp & paper, power generation, mining, flow control, or heavy industrial sectors
Experience leading multi-location teams and senior managers
Strong commercial and customer-facing leadership experience
Strategic mindset with the ability to execute growth initiatives
Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or business preferred
Willingness to travel approximately 50%
