Description Who You’ll Work With

You will report directly to the Project Manager in our Subject Matter Expert role. Collaborating cross‑functionally, you will partner with other project team members including Instructional Designers, to create and deliver an innovative and personalized learning experience in management and leadership.

As a Subject Matter Expert you will serve as the content‑generating and reviewing authority for lessons, assessments, activities, and resources for a non‑credit online course entitled Fundamentals of Strategic Decision‑Making. You will collaborate with instructional designers to define course‑level learning outcomes, competencies, and scope. You will validate curriculum structure, sequencing, and instructional content for accuracy and relevance. You will review and validate assessments, including knowledge checks, performance‑based assessments, and capstone requirements, and participate in structured design reviews, working sessions, and milestone approvals.

Required Availability This project requires an average of 10 hours per week, with up to 20 hours per week available. The engagement runs from approximately April 1 through June 20, 2026. Hours per week will be based on your availability and number of team members working on this project.

The project will have established milestones and deliverables. Work is self‑paced and fully remote.

Requirements Basic Qualifications

Graduate‑level degree in business, management, or leadership

Experience teaching workforce‑training, undergraduate, or graduate courses in leadership or management (specific experience teaching courses in strategic decision‑making preferred)

Deep, current knowledge of concepts in management and leadership

Ability to translate real‑world situations into teachable competencies

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with instructional designers

Familiarity with Google Workspace

Strong academic writing ability

Ability to follow a provided style guide and comprehensive guideline instructions

Ability to work effectively in an agile environment with a multi‑phased roadmap

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Ability to expertly work cross‑functionally in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience contributing to academic programs, workforce training, or continuing education

Experience creating or reviewing content, assessments, activities, and resources for online or in‑person learning courses

Experience working with instructional designers or academic institutions

Understanding of competency‑based education or outcomes‑based training models

Content authoring experience

Familiarity with Bloom's Taxonomy or Depth of Knowledge
