AFMKTG is currently seeking a
Senior Social Media Manager
to join the team. The primary responsibility is to support our clients through Social Media Content Creation, Community Management, and General Marketing Project Support.
Responsibilities The
Senior Social Media Manager
will be expected to help our clients reach their goals and KPIs by:
Proactively discovering, reviewing and staying ahead of the latest social media trends and leveraging that knowledge to inform your ideation process.
Owning the creative process from ideation through implementation.
Possessing excellent copywriting skills and can write in brand-voice to compel audiences to action.
Having the ability to create eye catching graphic design pieces in Canva.
Being able to edit engaging short-form videos for social media.
Understanding our client’s business structures and goals, communicating effectively and knowing the right questions to ask to transform client ideas and visions into reality while incorporating their brand strategy into the design.
Being a self-starter who is motivated, resourceful and excited about getting tasks over the finish line while working collaboratively with the team and our clients.
Anticipating needs, remaining adaptable and thinking on their feet in order to provide creative marketing solutions to help our clients reach their goals.
Possessing an exceptionally high level of professionalism and integrity – comfortable with taking extreme ownership of their responsibilities, their clients and their work.
Applying an incredibly meticulous attention to detail, reviewing and improving their own work, and ensuring all deliverables exceed AFMKTG standards.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating strong analytical, time management, and multitasking skills and proactively managing deadlines and expectations.
Liaison between client & agency, will execute on client marketing needs
Fully understand the client’s social media & competitor landscape
Social media content creation (in person) and virtually
Exceptional graphic design on Canva
Copywriting, mastery of client content & brand voice
Scheduling & optimizing posts, posting on social media as needed
Editing short form videos
Collaborate with influencers, other businesses & accounts to achieve growth
Ensure that client’s voice is present in other relevant social platforms/channels not owned by the client
Prepare for, host & manage client check-in calls
Proactively & regularly communicate with client (providing account updates, social media previews, deadlines, wins, etc.)
Analytics reporting
Monitor and manage KPI’s and prepare reports to measure ROI of marketing initiatives
Research marketing strategy, trends, forecasting & specific marketing/promotional opportunities for clients- continue to be creating strategies, campaigns and identifying opportunities to help client meet KPIs
Outreach, relationship building & interfacing with vendors, partners, influencers, etc., to achieve business goals for clients
Protects agency’s scope of work
Miscellaneous projects, project management other duties as assigned
Requirements
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in social media marketing and marketing services, agency experience preferred
Must be located in San Diego (this position is remote with monthly in-person meetings and additional occasional client obligations & in person meetings)
Excellent copywriting and editing skills
Highly organized, proactive communicator with impeccable attention to detail
Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
