Sales Development Representative, Ads Manager

About the role Roku Ads Manager is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help lead demand generation and client growth for our self-serve streaming ad platform. This role will join two existing SDRs and play a crucial role in attracting and onboarding new advertisers, ensuring their success on the platform, and driving revenue growth.

What you’ll be doing

Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound leads for Roku Ads Manager

Educate potential advertisers on the benefits of streaming and our self-serve platform

Collaborate with Account Executives to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline

Track and manage leads using CRM tools and outreach platforms

Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to improve messaging and user experience

Stay up to date on industry trends and Roku’s evolving ad solutions

We’re excited if you have

1–2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role

A passion for advertising, media, or technology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A self-starter mindset with strong organizational skills

Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot (a plus)

A collaborative spirit and a drive to learn and grow

Benefits and Compensation For Chicago Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between 52,000 and 75,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

This role is eligible for incentive compensation/commissions, health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

Hybrid Work Approach Roku fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where teams work in the office Monday through Thursday. Fridays are flexible for remote work except for employees whose roles are required to be in the office five days a week or employees who are in offices with a five day in office policy.
