Director of Government & Commercial Contracting (Remote / Work From Home)
Herman Systems is growing fast, and we’re looking for a driven, resourceful professional to lead our government and commercial contracting efforts.
What You’ll Do
Identify and pursue federal, state, local, and commercial contracting opportunities
Write and submit competitive bids and proposals
Manage the full lifecycle of contracts
Coordinate resources, vendors, and teams to execute awarded work
Ensure compliance with all contract requirements
Build and maintain relationships with agencies, clients, and partners
Experience with government contracting (SAM.gov, RFPs, RFQs, etc.)
Strong proposal writing and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Self‑starter mindset — this is a leadership role
Bonus if you have construction, environmental, or field service experience
