The Role We’re looking for a YouTube Script Writer to develop engaging scripts for a weekly educational podcast. Each episode runs for 7 minutes (~800 words). You’ll be responsible for transforming various topics into easy-to-understand, captivating scripts tailored for a YouTube audience with a keen focus on retention and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Research and write weekly scripts
Capture the host’s tone of voice and collaborate on notes
Iterate based on performance metrics to maximize engagement
Qualifications
Experience writing for YouTube, ideally educational content
Strong understanding of YouTube audience retention tactics
Ability to meet ongoing deadlines
This is a contract, work-from-anywhere role with a flexible schedule.
