Remote Court Reporter
On behalf of our Legal Technology client, Procom is searching for a Remote Court Reporter for a freelance contract role. This position is a remote position with U.S.-based availability preferred.
Remote Court Reporter – Job Description:
We are building a high-performing network of Remote Court Reporters to support a growing legal technology platform focused on delivering seamless, scalable deposition services. This role involves accurately capturing and transcribing legal proceedings conducted via remote platforms such as Zoom and WebEx.
Remote Court Reporter – Responsibilities:
Capture verbatim records of depositions and legal proceedings in real time
Produce accurate, high-quality transcripts within required turnaround times
Manage remote deposition technology platforms effectively
Maintain professionalism and neutrality during all proceedings
Ensure compliance with legal standards and confidentiality requirements
Coordinate with legal teams, attorneys, and internal stakeholders
Handle exhibits and documentation as required
Remote Court Reporter – Mandatory Skills:
RPR (Registered Professional Reporter) Certification
Experience in depositions and legal proceedings
Proficiency with stenography equipment and software
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Proven experience in remote reporting environments
Remote Court Reporter – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Realtime reporting capability
Experience with high-volume or complex litigation
Familiarity with remote deposition platforms and workflows
RMR / CRR Certification
Multi-jurisdictional experience
Remote Court Reporter – Assignment Length:
This is a contract / freelance position.
Remote Court Reporter – Start Date:
ASAP
Remote Court Reporter – Assignment Location:
United States with a 100% remote work arrangement.
