Piper Companies is seeking a Systems Analyst to support an award winning organization in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. The Systems Analyst role is hybrid requiring 3 days onsite in the office. The Systems Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing critical insurance systems, with a strong focus on SQL-driven solutions and policy administration platforms.
Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical system specifications.
Support, enhance, and optimize insurance systems, with a focus on policy administration platforms.
Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts to support system analysis and operational needs.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and QA to ensure effective system functionality and performance.
Troubleshoot system issues and identify long-term process and technology improvements.
Lead or participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration initiatives.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
Prior experience in the insurance industry.
Preferred: Hands-on experience supporting or working with policy administration systems.
Compensation
Salary range: $115,000 – $130,000 depending on experience
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
Hybrid or remote work flexibility (based on client needs)
