Platform Specialist – Walmart (SupplierOne)
to lead operational execution and system governance within the Walmart supplier ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Own operational workflows within SupplierOne, including item governance and system updates.
Monitor item publish status and resolve system errors impacting product availability.
Ensure items meet Walmart content, compliance, and taxonomy standards.
Manage updates to product attributes, content, and taxonomy classifications.
Oversee variation setup and correction to ensure proper catalog structure.
Resolve compliance and item governance issues that impact product visibility or availability.
Diagnose and resolve issues impacting transactability across Walmart channels, including Online Pickup & Delivery (OPD) and Ship-to-Home (S2H).
Ensure products remain fully purchasable across Walmart digital channels.
Manage Walmart case workflows and escalation processes;
Resolve publish errors, system conflicts, and governance issues impacting retail performance.
Escalate systemic platform blockers that require retailer engagement.
Coordinate with Scintilla analytics, RMS platform teams, content teams, and client stakeholders to execute updates.
Support promotional uploads, assortment changes, and retail event readiness.
What You’ll Need
5–7 years of experience in Walmart commerce operations, catalog management, or digital shelf management
Hands-on experience with SupplierOne and Walmart item governance systems
Experience managing product setup, catalog corrections, and compliance workflows
Strong operational understanding of the Walmart supplier ecosystem
Ability to diagnose and resolve item setup, taxonomy, and publish issues
Strong attention to detail and system troubleshooting capability
Ability to coordinate cross-functional execution teams
Preferred
Experience supporting enterprise CPG brands at Walmart
Familiarity with Walmart Connect retail media environments
Experience in agency, commerce consultancy, or supplier-side commerce teams
Experience working with Walmart merchants, replenishment teams, or supplier analytics environments; Walmart/Bentonville experience is a plus
Compensation and Work Model The base salary range for this position is $75,000—$180,000 USD, with compensation varying by location, responsibilities, experience, and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package. Details available in WPP Benefits.
