
ServiceNow Developer with Hardware Asset Mgt exp

This international industry leader has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Developer with hands‑on Hardware Asset Management experience. This position is fully remote. You will develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions to automate lifecycle processes, with a focus on HAM-centric automation including orchestration, exception handling, and compliance. Drive delivery across cross‑functional teams and vendors through proactive follow‑up, escalation, and issue resolution.
Contract Duration: 6 months initially
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in ServiceNow development
Strong experience with ServiceNow platform development, including scoped applications, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and App Engine Studio
Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and App Engine Studio
Strong hands‑on experience creating and configuring:
Business Rules
Client Scripts
UI Policies
UI Actions
Script Includes
Workflows
Knowledge of Access Control Rules (ACLs), UI Policies, and Data Policies
Experience developing integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and custom integrations
Hands‑on experience with Hardware Asset Management (ITAM/HAM Pro), including lifecycle states and substates, EOL / EOS logic, refresh processes, and exception handling
Experience troubleshooting complex ServiceNow issues across platform, integrations, flows, and scoped applications
Experience with version upgrades, clone management and how they affect HAM and scoped applications
Proven experience working with cross‑domain teams and external vendors, proactively driving progress and resolving blockers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
Preferred Skills
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Preferred
Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred
Knowledge of other ServiceNow modules such as:
ITSM
ITOM
Customer Service Management (CSM)
Operational Technology (OT)
HAM Pro
Experience integrating ServiceNow with SAP and SAP Ariba, including procurement, asset, or lifecycle‑related workflows
What You Will Be Doing
Member of the Hardware Asset Excellence product development team with a primary focus on automated Hardware Asset Management solutions and ServiceNow platform capabilities
Design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow solutions and applications aligned to the product roadmap
Drive technical solutions end to end, from design through delivery, with minimal oversight
Provide advanced support to other teams and lead the investigation and resolution of complex problems
Ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards and security policies
Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and recommend feature adoption
Daily Responsibilities
Develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions and applications to automate manual and lifecycle driven processes
Design and implement HAM centric automation, including lifecycle orchestration, exception handling, and compliance validation
Improve data quality, integrity, and consistency across hardware asset lifecycles
Design, implement, and support integrations related to asset lifecycle, vendor data, and downstream systems
Drive delivery across cross domain teams and external vendors, including proactive follow‑up, escalation, and issue resolution
Apply ServiceNow best practices related to system performance, security, upgradability, and user experience
Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for complex ServiceNow related issues
