Sr. Active Directory Consolidation Consultant
to support a large-scale Active Directory consolidation initiative.

Job Title:
Sr. Active Directory Consolidation Consultant
Experience:
10+ Years
Location:
Remote with occasional travel to Topeka, Kansas
Visa:
US Citizens Only (Client Requirement)
Project Overview The client is undertaking a
large-scale Active Directory consolidation initiative . The engagement will focus on defining the
future‑state AD architecture , identifying current gaps, recommending improvements, and initiating a
phased implementation strategy . The project also includes
PKI impact assessment and capability mapping .
Key Responsibilities
Lead
Active Directory environment assessments
across agencies.
Conduct
stakeholder interviews
and gather technical and operational inventory.
Map the
current‑state AD environment
and design the
target‑state AD architecture .
Identify
dependencies, conflicts, PKI touchpoints, and future capability requirements .
Deliver a consolidated AD architecture including:
Naming standards
Group Policy model
Security baseline alignment
Develop
detailed recommendations and an implementation roadmap .
Support discovery/design phases and assist with
future migration phases .
Collaborate with
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
initiatives and integrate with the broader
IDM strategy .
Required Skills
8–12+ years
of experience in
Enterprise Active Directory architecture .
Proven experience in
large‑scale AD consolidation or migration projects .
Public sector or
state government consolidation experience preferred .
Strong expertise in
gap analysis, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication .
Experience with
PKI integration and enterprise identity architecture
is highly desirable.
