This role will cover a sales territory in Western Mass and Eastern NY

Essential Functions

Develop and grow a defined sales territory through a combination of new business development and account management

Plan and execute strategic sales calls with existing and prospective customers using CRM tools

Identify customer needs and deliver tailored motion control and fluid power solutions

Prepare and present proposals that clearly communicate value and drive results

Build strong, consultative relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor

Collaborate closely with inside sales, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience

Conduct on-site product demonstrations and Lunch & Learns with customers and vendor partners

Partner with manufacturer representatives on joint sales calls and business development efforts

Actively uncover cross-selling opportunities across divisions to expand customer partnerships

Participate in ongoing product and sales training to continuously build technical expertise

Proactively resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction

Experience, Education and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field (preferred)

2+ years of outside technical sales experience (fluid power or industrial sales preferred)

Certified Fluid Power Specialist (CFPS) is a plus

Experience with or knowledge of Parker products is a strong plus

Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical systems and motion control applications

Ability to identify, specify, and recommend solutions based on customer needs

Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills

Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Some overnight travel will be required
