Director, Power Building
Weissberg Foundation - DMV (remote+travel), New York, NY, United States
Weissberg Foundation envisions a world that recognizes inequities and actively seeks to dismantle structural racism by continuously building access, opportunity, and power so that all can thrive. ABOUT THE POSITION Are you a movement leader who is fully dedicated to building power with Black and Brown communities across Virginia? We’re looking for a strategic, values-aligned leader who is energized by the opportunity to direct resources to community in service of racial equity and justice. No experience in grantmaking required.
The Weissberg Foundation is investing in Black-led and accountable power building with the full capacity of our resources (financial and otherwise) to grow and sustain a well‑funded, thoroughly‑supported ecosystem of leaders and organizations across issue areas who are most proximate to racial injustice and committed to advocacy and structural change, and therefore have the greatest capacity to shape and advance a vision for racial equity and justice in Virginia.
