JOB SUMMARY A critical member of the Sales Enablement Team, the Account Specialist will bridge territory and district level strategies with TD loan and discounting programs. This position will work closely with TD District Sales Managers, Solutions Consultants, Learning and Marketing Teams and represent Sales Enablement and CX team needs in interdepartmental projects.
The Account Specialist must live in the Pacific or Mountain time zone.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Consult and recommend loan strategies to District Sales Managers and TD Solutions Consultants to maximize use of loan pool devices and increase return on investment
Analyze recommender history and level of independent device usage to approve requests for TD loan programs
Ensure contracts and special loan program orders are completed and scheduled, correspond with special recommenders to ensure successful use of loans and software
Lead strategic discussions with Solutions Consultants to recommend action plans for areas with low investment return or specific trial and demo needs
Approve customers for special TD programs such as Evaluation Center discount programs, and Enterprise/demo versions of software
Provide quoting and order management support to special accounts
Foster customer relationships, gather and track feedback and recommend improvements to the TD customer experience
Be an expert in TD solutions and programs; guide recommenders and junior level associates to TD resources, ensuring customers have a consistent and positive pre-sale experience
Respond to escalated customer and SC inquiries and issues requiring in depth research and follow through
Represent the Customer Experience Team and their customers during Go To Market and other Product Team and Marketing related meetings and projects
Actively participate in process improvement projects; manage smaller improvement projects
Review and update departmental forms and internal process documentation
Assist in the creation of internal tools and resources for the Outside Sales team including training guides, checklists, videos, and part number and product resources
Perform various other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience
3 to 5 years experience in a related position
Attention to detail with a commitment to achieving results through service excellence and high standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem resolution
COMPUTER OR TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENT
Ability to multi-task and work with interruptions
Ability to communicate in different settings and with a variety of communication partners
Travel may be required on occasion (1-2 times per year)
