Chism Automation builds exceptional quality robotic, automated machinery, and assembly line automation.From our location in Somerset, Kentucky, we develop automated applications for regional manufacturers.We are adding a sales engineer to facilitate sales growth for the Louisville, KY, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio region.

Role

Build new customer relationships

Identify business opportunities

Develop and implement strategies to generate leads

Make customer visits to facilitate sales

Improve and maintain CRM

Professionally demonstrate Chism Automation’s capability and scope

Document and understand customer needs

Gather information and solutions to provide to applications engineer for quote preparation

Effectively communicate with customers, account managers, and application engineers

Ability to travel up to 80% within region. Remainder of time is home based.

Requirements

2 years of automation sales experience

Strong technical skills (Preferred Engineering or Sales Engineering background)

Positive attitude and demeanor

Exceptional communication skills

Exceptional organization

Strong work ethic and detail oriented
