Income Tax Manager

Location:

Remote, US

Our Orbia business is currently seeking an experienced Income Tax Manager to oversee US & Canada federal and multi‑state corporate income tax compliance, quarterly tax provisions, and complex tax planning initiatives. This role supports a fast‑paced, multinational environment and requires strong analytical, technical, and collaboration skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The preparation of federal & multi‑state corporate income tax compliance, including returns, estimated payments, and extensions

Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly income tax provision calculations, including accounting for equity compensation and mergers and acquisitions activity (under IFRS)

Utilize tax research skills and materials to develop technical arguments to support filing positions and defend audit questions

Analysis of uncertain tax positions

Support other internal departments in tax‑related matters

Lead the implementation and integration of ONESOURCE Tax Provision software to optimize both speed and accuracy of tax provision accounting, coordinating with local finance and tax teams to gather global tax data

Monitor legislative changes that affect or may affect the Company and analyze the impact on current and future operations, and ensure the U.S. tax team remains current on legislative developments

Coordinate and manage the indirect tax filing process with external partner

Special Projects as required

REQUIREMENTS

Academic Level: An undergraduate degree in accounting is required; Advanced/Master’s degree preferred; CPA required

Language(s) and level of proficiency: English (native proficiency); foreign language a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: IFRS/IAS 12. IFRIC 23 a plus. CorpTax and OneSource tax compliance and provision software experience required. Broad‑based knowledge of federal and multi‑state corporate tax. Sarbanes‑Oxley experience is also beneficial

Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of corporate income tax experience in a large, national public accounting firm or in a multinational public company

Physical requirements for the position such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable in line with local laws): Ability to perform essential tasks as outlined above; occasional travel may be required to perform job duties

The compensation for this position will typically range from$98,000 - $181,000 per year. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.

The compensation package may also include short‑ and long‑term incentive compensation.
