This fast-growing, venture-backed company is modernizing the waste, recycling, and logistics industry through innovative technology—bringing greater efficiency, transparency, and cost savings to a large, traditionally fragmented industry. By combining proprietary data, purpose-built software, and a large vendor network, the platform enables businesses to better manage waste operations while improving sustainability outcomes.
The Role This is a senior, player–coach leadership role responsible for both setting product strategy and staying hands‑on in execution. You’ll oversee the product function while directly owning the core platform—driving discovery, prioritization, and delivery. You’ll partner closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to turn business objectives and customer insights into shipped product.
What You’ll Do
Own product strategy and roadmap across both software and service layers
Act as the hands‑on Product Manager for the core platform, leading discovery through delivery
Manage and mentor a small product team while building scalable processes
Define product vision, success metrics, and prioritization frameworks
Partner cross‑functionally to align on product direction and execution
Translate customer and operational needs into clear product requirements
Drive user research, feedback loops, and data analysis to inform decisions
Lead release planning and support go‑to‑market efforts
Track product performance through KPIs and iterate accordingly
Balance strategic leadership with hands‑on product development
Identify opportunities to improve both customer experience and operational efficiency
What They’re Looking For
7+ years in Product Management, including experience leading or mentoring others
Track record of owning product strategy while remaining hands‑on
Strong experience building and scaling B2B SaaS products
Deep familiarity with agile development and cross‑functional collaborationl
Ability to operate in a player–coach capacity across strategy and execution
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills
Data‑driven mindset with strong product intuition
Comfort in fast‑paced, ambiguous, high‑growth environments
Bonus: experience in logistics, marketplaces, or operationally complex industries
Compensation:
$200,000 - $270,000. Flexibility with experience.
