Jenevesque Media is a full-service multimedia production house established in 2020, dedicated to advancing innovative, boundary-pushing storytelling across film and digital media. Specializing in experimental nonfiction, lyrical narrative, and immersive audiovisual work, the company elevates original stories and connects them with audiences worldwide.

Headquartered in West Orange, NJ, Jenevesque Media supports emerging and independent creatives by helping bring debut projects to life through creative development, impact-driven marketing, and hands-on production support. The company is committed to expanding access within the entertainment industry and fostering a vibrant, forward-thinking creative ecosystem. As our collaborator network and slate continue to expand, we are looking to build our C‑suite.

Initial compensation is tied to the company’s long-term growth, including revenue activation, fundraising milestones, and the establishment of new partnerships. As part of the founding leadership team, the selected candidates will receive an equity stake that reflects their contribution to building core systems, expanding operations, and shaping the studio’s strategic direction.

Role Description We are seeking an entrepreneurial, mission-aligned to join our founding leadership team and shape the next phase of the company’s growth. This is a hands‑on, early‑stage leadership role for someone who wants to help build a studio, not simply work at one.

You will partner directly with the Founder as a core decision‑maker, guiding business strategy, operations, partnerships, and studio development. This role is ideal for someone energized by building systems from the ground up, scaling new initiatives, and helping define what a purpose‑driven entertainment company can become.

Role Responsibilities

Lead company strategy, organizational development, and operational growth

Oversee day‑to‑day management with a focus on sustainable, scalable systems

Build partnerships with distributors, arts institutions, brands, festivals, and creative organizations

Develop revenue models, studio infrastructure, and long‑term business plans

Collaborate closely with creative leadership on project development and overall portfolio direction

Represent Jenevesque Media across industry events and professional platforms

Shape and support a collaborative, inclusive, artist-centered company culture

Motivate internal teams toward excellence and meaningful impact

Qualifications

Early to mid‑career stage

Bachelor’s degree preferred (current graduating seniors or candidates with strong experience will also be considered)

Preferred fields of study: Film Production, Business of Film, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Media Management, Fine Arts, Dramatic Arts, or related disciplines

Additional experience in media, the arts, community engagement, or project-based leadership is a strong plus.

We are especially interested in candidates who:

Want real, hands‑on experience in scaling a creative or media startup

Are motivated by building within flexible structures that allow for autonomy

Enjoy creating systems, frameworks, and opportunities rather than inheriting them

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative

Deep interest in storytelling and its influence on audiences

Excited by the opportunity to co‑create a company’s identity, strategy, and presence in the marketplace

Strong communicator comfortable working with both creatives and business partners

Quick thinker with a willingness to learn and adapt

Comfortable with hands‑on, ground‑up work

Who Will Thrive Here Candidates who:

Want a leadership position with real ownership and long‑term influence

Prefer building alongside a founder rather than entering a traditional hierarchy

Believe in the power of film and media to drive cultural and artistic impact

Want their work to matter to audiences, artists, and the industry

…will excel in this role.

Compensation This role is structured around a deferred and equity-based compensation model. Initial compensation is tied to the company’s long‑term growth, including revenue activation, fundraising milestones, and the establishment of new partnerships. As part of the founding leadership team, the selected candidate will receive an equity stake that reflects their contribution to building core systems, expanding operations, and shaping the studio’s strategic direction.

This structure is designed for individuals who are motivated by shared ownership, long‑term value creation, and the opportunity to participate directly in the company’s future financial success.
