A day in the life As a Client Manager on our Employee Health & Benefits team you will focus on delivering exceptional client service and managing client accounts effectively. You will resolve complex issues related to claims, billing, and eligibility while keeping benefits consultants informed. Your insights in market strategy and requests for benchmarking data will help shape our approach.
You will lead the marketing process by gathering RFP documents, exploring negotiation opportunities, driving carrier negotiations, and overseeing technological implementations to ensure a seamless client experience. Your skills in preparing presentations, developing meeting agendas, and coordinating plan documents will be essential as you guide clients through the enrollment process.
Collaboration with compliance resources will ensure adherence to regulations, while your confidence in driving client strategy and engaging with decision‑makers will be key. Ultimately, your commitment to outstanding client service and strategic initiatives will significantly enhance our client experience.
Our future colleague We’re looking for a professional track record that includes:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Minimum three years of benefits/HR experience required
Working knowledge of risk management techniques, including employee health and benefits markets and marketing techniques
Deep understanding of various funding mechanisms and ability to share knowledge with a variety of stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Additional qualifications that are a plus (but not required):
3‑6 years of experience in insurance broker space desired; 5‑7 years strongly desired
Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days

Compensation The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
