Director of Software Engineering

We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Software Engineering to lead our global web teams building scalable, high-performance applications used by millions worldwide. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll shape the future of our web platform, deliver impactful customer-facing experiences, and mentor top‑tier engineering talent.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and grow multiple engineering teams (on‑site & remote) focused on building modern web applications at scale.
Drive the web platform roadmap and partner closely with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
Establish best practices, technical standards, and scalable architecture patterns to ensure high-quality delivery.
Coach, mentor, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Influence strategic decisions and act as a thought leader in web engineering practices and emerging technologies.
What You Bring:
10+ years building customer-facing web applications at scale
5+ years leading engineering teams with proven mentorship and leadership skills
Strong hands‑on experience with modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Node.js), APIs (GraphQL, REST), Java, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Deep understanding of scalable architectures, microservices, CI/CD, observability, and performance tuning
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
