
Developmental Disabilities Specialist

Job Overview
Our growing agency has a unique services coordination position available to work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. This position will originate on our Children’s Team, with the option of floating to provide services as a Developmental Disabilities Specialist to other teams determined by business need.
Responsibilities
Assess individual needs and create individual plans of support for each person on the caseload.
Collaborate with community partners in disability, education, medical, and behavioral health.
Provide responsive and effective customer service to individuals and their families.
Receive training and support in equity lens and trauma‑informed principles.
Participate in regular supervision, onboarding training, and learn County and State systems for service coordination.
Possibly work a hybrid telework arrangement depending on division needs.
Schedule Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
One year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
Equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the required knowledge and abilities.
