Your mandate: bring humanity back to hiring by forging authentic relationships and advocating for the unique value veterans deliver in the workforce.
Who We're Looking For We are growing our sales team and actively recruiting two types of people:
Transitioning military professionals
ready to launch a high-impact civilian sales career
Experienced sales professionals
who want their work to mean something beyond a quota

Why This Role Exists Our recruiting team is delivering results, and demand for authentic veteran advocacy is growing. We need driven individuals to carry our message into new markets, connect with decision-makers, and help employers understand how veterans can elevate their organizations. This is a ground-floor opportunity with a clear path to leadership as VHS scales.
What You'll Do Initiate and nurture authentic conversations with hiring managers via cold calls, LinkedIn, email, social media, and video. We believe in human-to-human interaction. You will pick up the phone, own your outreach, and use the VJD (Video Job Description) model to show, not tell, what makes VHS and veteran talent different.
Consistently generate and qualify new business leads, secure introductory meetings, and build a robust pipeline of corporate partners. You will be held to defined activity and pipeline KPIs and are expected to track and report progress consistently.
Act as a trusted guide to employers, translating military skills into business outcomes and positioning veterans as leaders, not just candidates.
4. Partnership Conversion Move prospects from interest to action. Tailor our value narrative, address objections, and close new client agreements.
5. Storytelling & Thought Leadership Share client and veteran success stories, contribute to content (video, social, email), and help build VHS's presence as a thought leader in veteran employment.
6. Continuous Growth & Process Improvement Learn and apply performance-based hiring and VJD best practices. Contribute feedback and ideas that make our team and process better.
This is a performance-driven role. You will be expected to meet defined activity and outcome benchmarks, including but not limited to:
Daily & Weekly Outreach Activity:
30 dials per day (200/week) and 10 LinkedIn messages per day (50/week). Consistent outreach is the foundation of a strong pipeline.
New Meetings Scheduled:
15 qualified introductory meetings per month. Every conversation is a chance to bring a new partner into the mission.
CRM Pipeline Building:
10 new contacts added to the CRM per day (50/week). A healthy pipeline starts with disciplined prospecting.
Client Conversion:
10 new client agreements closed per quarter. This is where your advocacy turns into a real opportunity for veterans.
LinkedIn Presence (10/5/3 Method):
10 connection requests sent per day, 5 meaningful comments per day, and 3 original posts per week. Your voice and visibility matter.

Requirements Military experience (any branch, any MOS/AFSC/NEC) or demonstrated commitment to veteran advocacy
2+ years in sales, business development, or recruiting preferred, staffing/HR industry experience a plus
Proven track record of cold calling, outbound outreach, and closing new accounts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with LinkedIn, video-based selling, and CRM/ATS tools (Zoho preferred)
Ability to work in a hybrid environment: remote-first with onboarding and 1–2 days per week in Boston, MA
100% Commission based role
Uncapped earning potential : commissions directly tied to new business secured
Hybrid flexibility : remote-first with a collaborative home base in Sharon, MA
Clear path to leadership : advancement into team lead and management roles as VHS grows
Direct mission impact : every deal you close creates an opportunity for a veteran
Compensation structure and OTE expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
