Position Overview The

Marketing Operations and Automation Specialist

plays a critical role in enabling scalable, data-driven marketing programs that drive pipeline growth and improve marketing performance. This role is responsible for managing the marketing technology stack, ensuring data integrity across platforms, and designing automated workflows that support lead generation, nurturing, and conversion throughout the customer lifecycle.

Working closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams, this individual will oversee the optimization of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) to streamline campaign execution, improve lead management processes, and enhance reporting visibility. The role will also lead the development of lead scoring and nurturing frameworks, ensuring alignment between marketing and sales on lead qualification, routing, and follow-up. Additionally, this position will partner with the web development team to align marketing automation capabilities with the CMS infrastructure, supporting smooth data flow and consistent execution of digital marketing efforts.

The Marketing Operations and Automation Specialist will analyze campaign and funnel performance to identify optimization opportunities, improve conversion rates, and deliver actionable insights that inform future marketing investments. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketing systems, data, and processes operate efficiently and support revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Automation Management: Own, configure, and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) to drive, measure, and scale campaigns.

Lead Management and Scoring: Define and implement lead scoring, segmentation, and nurturing workflows to deliver qualified leads to sales.

Data Integrity and Analytics: Maintain data cleanliness, security, and accuracy across CRM and automation systems; create, manage, and report on marketing performance metrics.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve, automate, or fix broken workflows, ensuring efficient lead flow from marketing to sales.

Technology Stack Ownership: Evaluate and manage the marketing technology stack, including CRM integrations, web tools, and reporting dashboards.

Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment on campaign goals and user experience.

Required Qualifications/Certifications Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.

3-5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or revenue operations.

Proven track record of implementing and managing marketing technology platforms, CRM integration, campaign automation, and performance analytics.

Experience with Salesforce, Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement required, additional experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and website content management platforms (e.g., Xperience by Kentico) is a plus.

Technical Skills

Expert knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation (Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) platforms.

Understanding of API integrations, HTML/CSS (for email templates, website landing pages), and data hygiene best practices.

Proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel, and data visualization tools to track campaign ROI.

Location & Travel

Hybrid position based out of Foxborough, MA.
