Associate Director Of Business Quality For The Cleaning Business Unit
The Associate Director of Business Quality for the Cleaning Business Unit is a transformational leader responsible for architecting and executing a forward-looking quality strategy that drives operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and consumer trust across the global supply chain. The Associate Director will lead a high-performing team of subject matter experts and influence cross-functional partners to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that elevate product performance and business outcomes. As a key member of the Cleaning and CPro SC Squad teams, this individual will shape the BU's quality roadmap, proactively identify systemic risks, and drive strategic initiatives that align with corporate priorities. Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management, change leadership, and the ability to inspire a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. This role is accountable for ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, leading product issue teams, embedding robust quality systems, and enabling continuous improvement to deliver superior consumer outcomes and business performance. This leader will collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, R&D, regulatory, legal, and operations to embed quality into every stage of the value chain. In this role, you will: Partners with plants to ensure compliance, identify/mitigate product and micro risks, and drive continuous improvement. Define and lead the business quality strategy in partnership with BU and enterprise leadership. Translate corporate quality vision into actionable BU goals, KPIs, and governance mechanisms. Influence senior stakeholders to prioritize quality investments and integrate quality into strategic planning. Champion Clorox quality systems across supplier, operational, and customer interfaces, driving harmonization and scalability. Partner with supply chain and R&D to ensure specifications are current, compliant, and aligned with consumer expectations. Conduct quality systems gap analyses at key manufacturing sites and implement tailored solutions. Serve as the escalation point and leader for quality issues, including product withdrawals and recalls, ensuring timely resolution and communication. Communicate quality performance and plans to address gaps. Implement quality processes, best practices, leader standard work, and tools throughout the business unit to improve speed to market and speed to margin for new product introductions. Foster a culture of quality ownership and analytical rigor across operations and technical teams. Serve as a primary member of the supply chain squads and a key member of the one technical voice team, with responsibility for setting consistent corporate quality goals and objectives, driving quality best practices and reducing risk. Build competency in the use of quality tools and analysis throughout the quality and manufacturing organization. Lead and mentor quality professionals across the BU, supporting career development and succession planning. Guide onboarding and training initiatives to build functional capability and engagement. Collaborate with center-led teams to shape enterprise capabilities that meet evolving business needs. What we look for: Minimum: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the CPG industry (manufacturing, quality assurance, product development, or regulatory compliance). Desirable: Direct experience in leading a quality organization developing and implementing strategies. Strong CPG knowledge and experience including products, facilities, and audit management. Strong leadership & influence skills ability to set direction and drive results. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on product issues and effectively implement corrective actions to ensure compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction. Strong coaching and development skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including understanding of risk management and risk-based quality systems. Strong interpersonal skills a proven team player who contributes to a result focused and motivating team environment. Highly flexible and adaptable. Able to work independently in a fast-paced multitasking environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Zone A: $153,700 - $309,000 Zone B: $140,900 - $283,300 Zone C: $128,100 - $257,500 All ranges are subject to change in the future.
