About the role Our client is doubling down in the DACH region and is looking for a Strategic Account Executive who can manage complex, multi-threaded sales processes using a structured methodology (MEDDPICC).

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle - from building your own pipeline to closing high-value enterprise deals with German-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

Own and close enterprise opportunities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

Build your own pipeline (outbound, events) and work with marketing-generated leads

Qualify and advance deals using MEDDPICC, ensuring full coverage across all stages:

Metrics: Quantify business value and customer impact

Economic Buyer: Identify and engage the budget holder early

Decision Criteria: Capture technical, commercial, and security requirements

Decision Process: Map stakeholders, steps, and procurement timelines

Paper Process: Collaborate with legal/procurement to keep deals progressing

Identify Pain: Conduct discovery tied to real business problems

Champion: Build and coach internal advocates

Competition: Clearly position against alternatives

Multi-thread accounts across business, IT, security, and procurement

Maintain accurate forecasting in CRM (e.g., HubSpot) based on MEDDPICC hygiene

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing

Requirements

5–10 years of experience in enterprise sales within banking, fintech, or B2B SaaS

Native German and strong English skills

Established network in financial services

Proven track record of closing 6–7 figure deals in the DACH region

Strong analytical and data-driven mindset

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Solid understanding of SaaS and product environments

Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environmentsHands‑on experience with MEDDPICC

Proactive approach to prospecting (LinkedIn, outbound, events)

Strong stakeholder management skills across business units, IT, and C-level
