Leadership Position in Senior Living
Integral Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, seeks a leader to manage the health and well-being of residents. The role involves: Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws Analyzing and reporting occurrence trends Partnering with team members to maintain health and safety Providing pharmaceutical services Supervising licensed nurses Assisting with educational presentations Managing resident assessments and service plans Coordinating with department coordinators Updating resident service plans Participating in community activities Maintaining communication with families Informing the Business Office of fee changes Scheduling clinical staff Ensuring adequate clinical supplies Participating in a rotating on-call schedule Other duties as assigned Supervises LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and others to ensure high-quality care. Qualifications include: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing One year in a nursing leadership role BSL Certification Knowledge, skills, and abilities include: Language and mathematical skills Cognitive and computer skills Competencies in working with seniors Effective communication and problem-solving abilities Environmental adaptability includes: Indoor work in a controlled setting Exposure to blood, hazardous materials, and unpleasant odors Exposure to chemicals Physical requirements include: Standing, walking, lifting, and pushing Ability to handle up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance Close and distance vision Thank you for your interest in Discovery Senior Living careers.
