The Senior Director of the Cardiovascular Portfolio for Enterprise Accounts, HCA will develop and drive the national strategy for our CV portfolio across HCA. This team member will work closely with OU leaders to identify and drive national opportunities and will coordinate closely with our divisional DEAs to drive profitable growth. The Sr. Director of Enterprise Accounts will also be responsible for understanding their assigned account’s strategic priorities and providing solutions to meet customer needs. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, travel throughout the United States. A valid driver’s license is essential for this role, which also involves 50% travel, presenting opportunities for broader engagement. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Medtronic business strategic relationship at the Senior/C-Suite level with strategic accounts, identifying and ensuring execution on co-developed and/or agreed upon account plans, projects and solutions. Build and lead high performance account teams and manage account level operating mechanisms. Create account/customer plans for targeted strategic accounts/customers that deliver growth objectives, customer value and improved customer experience. Include local insight gathering, competitive tracking and market share checks. Collaborate with local OUs, Service & Solutions, and other stakeholders to lead change and maximize opportunities for designated enterprise accounts. Price and tender management for targeted accounts; achieve account/customer KPI’s and AOP planning & execution. Maintain accurate account/customer plans in SFDC, prepare progress reports for stakeholders, and participate in quarterly business reviews as appropriate. Identify opportunities to leverage Medtronic capabilities to improve cost, outcomes, and patient access. Must Have Experience
Bachelor's degree in business (preferred), science, medicine or equivalent Minimum of 15 years relevant sales experience with a bachelor’s degree or minimum 8 years with an advanced degree. Business management experience in senior and complex roles. Experience in regulated industries (Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharma) in multinational environments with matrix components Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Key Capabilities
CUSTOMER & MARKET KNOWLEDGE: Deep understanding of Medtronic portfolio and trends, ability to anticipate changes and address unmet customer needs; strong commercial and strategic acumen for long-term deals. LEADERSHIP AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Develop long-term strategic relationships with stakeholders (C-Suite, account teams, resources); adaptability and experience with large-scale change. NON-CLINICAL STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Establish effective relationships with customers’ administration decision makers and align value propositions with needs. VALUE CO-CREATION AND DELIVERY: Co-create value offerings and deliver growth, leveraging capabilities across Service & Solutions, OUs & functions. Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): 220,000 - 240,000. This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan. The base salary range applies across the United States, with variations by experience, education, and location. It also mentions eligibility for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
