McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist for our South Carolina practice. Remote work will be considered for the right candidate located in South Carolina. The Foreclosure Specialist will be responsible for coordinating foreclosure activities and processes with attorneys and other departments within the Firm as necessary during the foreclosure process. They will ensure that actions are properly documented and recorded while maintaining and adhering to the foreclosure timeline.
Requirements
Work closely with attorneys to oversee foreclosure actions
Ensure adherence to client, state, and federal requirements
Database entry and tracking of the legal documents throughout the review process
May prepare accurate judgment figures, payoffs, and reinstatement
Coordinate past due steps in the foreclosure process, work with attorney firms to ensure timely completion
Communicate with attorneys to update files that are in legal process (i.e. foreclosure and eviction proceedings)
Responsible for special projects and reporting required by clients
Ensure accounts are properly documented with actions taken, correspondence, and explanation of delay, if any
Ensure the information contained within the legal documents is accurate and meet department quality assurance standards
Create and image supporting documents used to validate the information contained within the legal document
Monitors foreclosure loans and ensures that foreclosure actions on individual accounts are completed in a timely manner, according to client, state, and regulatory guidelines, minimizing financial losses to the company.
Required Skills/Abilities
Working knowledge of foreclosure law and terminology
Excellent professional communication skills. Position requires interaction with all interoffice personnel, managers and attorneys as well as the clients and outside vendors.
Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word
Well organized, effective time management, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
Strong work and business ethics; Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a Team Player
Effective problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Working knowledge of client systems including Black Knight/LPS, Tempo, a360 CaseAware
