Job Purpose We’re looking for a Snowflake Solution Architect to help shape data platform strategy for enterprise clients. This role is advisory and architecture-focused, partnering closely with sales and leadership teams to define modern cloud data solutions from early discovery through clean delivery handoff.

Key Responsibilities
Be a trusted Snowflake advisor to clients (e.g. architecture, capabilities, migration)
Lead pre-sales solutioning: discovery, scoping, proposals, technical presentations
Build reference architectures, POVs, reusable solution assets and accelerators.
Support sales with RFPs, workshops, demos, and rapid POCs aligned to active pursuits.
Provide comparative insight into related platforms (e.g. Databricks, Fabric, BigQuery)
Present solution value, risks, compliance considerations, and ROI to senior stakeholders
Stay current on Snowflake’s roadmap and the broader ecosystem
Act as the solution handoff point to delivery teams, ensuring clarity on scope, assumptions, and architectural intent.
Key Competencies
Proven Snowflake Architect, SME or Technical Pre-Sales and early delivery/design-stage experience.
Deep understanding of Snowflake features: warehouses, governance, security, Snowpark, data sharing, optimization, AI (or ramping up quickly on AI)
Strong communication & storytelling skills for both technical and executive audiences
Broad knowledge of modern data platforms (Databricks, Fabric, BigQuery, Redshift) and methods
Experience with Data Management, Modeling, Security, and Governance
Able to shape solutions, estimate scope, and articulate delivery approaches
Experience working closely with geographically distributed teams.
Preferred
Background in financial services (risk, trading, regulatory, analytics)
Familiarity with common SDLC and delivery approaches.
Nice to Have
Ability or experience architecting in platforms like Azure/AWS/Databricks
Understanding of integration & software development
