Summary The Senior Account Coordinator, Strategic Accounts partners closely with the Growth and Event Production teams to support Account Director(s) across high‑impact client initiatives. This role helps strengthen client relationships, support new business opportunities, manage financial tracking, contribute to RFP and RFI development, and lead the execution of smaller B2B and B2C programs. The Senior Account Coordinator, Strategic Accounts is a strong collaborator who brings a solutions‑oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a seamless and elevated client experience.
This position will support our Sparks team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show‑site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:
Philadelphia, PA
Detroit, MI
Dallas, TX
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with Account Director(s) to shape program budgets, scopes, timelines, and clearly defined roles and responsibilities
Own the day‑to‑day coordination of programs from planning through execution, keeping project files, documentation, and meeting notes organized and up to date
Support RFP and RFI efforts by aligning internal teams, building timelines, supporting budget development, scheduling executive reviews, and collaborating with Marketing
Play an active role in sales pitches and capabilities meetings for prospective clients
Collaborate with Account Director(s) and Marketing to develop program recaps, case studies, and award submissions
Maintain a strong pulse on assigned accounts and programs, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and solutions
Build a solid understanding of Sparks’ infrastructure and capabilities to support standard and customized capabilities presentations
Draft Statements of Work aligned to approved scope and budgets, partnering with Legal as needed for review
Manage deposit and final invoicing, while tracking SOWs, POs, billing status, and financial reconciliation
Independently lead smaller programs from kickoff through closeout, managing budgets up to $150,000
Lead discovery calls for new business opportunities, clearly capturing client needs and sharing concise debriefs, insights, and next steps
Support Salesforce opportunity tracking and pipeline management for new and existing clients
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding business objectives, industries, and marketing strategies
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team performance and client success
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
2–3 years of experience in account coordination, sales coordination, or a related client services role
At least one year of experience supporting events or fast‑moving, project‑based programs
Strong client‑facing skills with clear, confident written and verbal communication
Solid account management fundamentals, including client focus, budget support, and cross‑functional team coordination
Working knowledge of the event and experiential marketing industry
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and follow‑through
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment
Strong prioritization, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills
Comfortable working independently while staying organized and accountable
Willingness to travel onsite as programs require
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Travel Requirements Travel up to 25%
