Sales Account Manager (50+ year old Beauty, Bath & Wellness Organization)
This is a remote-based role. The company’s preference is for this candidate to be in the NY/NJ area but would consider relevant candidates in other locations.
Our client has been an industry and innovator in the world of bath, beauty, and wellness with a portfolio of brands for over 50 years. They are seeking an Account Manager who will be based remotely.
As a sales account manager, you will play a key role in supporting and managing sales strategies and retail relationships. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners, helping to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts to expand product and brand presence, achieving targeted sales goals. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple accounts and overseeing more than $5M in business. Actively seek and pursue opportunities for account growth and new business to expand market presence and drive revenue. Familiarity selling replenishment programs to Grocery and Drug retailers/distributors (CVS, Costco, Walgreens, Ahold, etc.) is desired. Engage, manage, and challenge new and established brokers, guiding and directing them to meet their sales goals effectively. Develop creative ways to engage audiences and boost brand visibility. Attend and represent the company at tradeshows as needed. Manage and maintain various sales platforms, coordinating closely with the Customer Service team to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction. Support the ongoing improvement of sales processes to increase efficiency, boost productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction. Support efforts to enhance customer service by improving communication and coordination with supply chain, operations, and customer care teams. Prepare sales reports and analytics on accounts and transactions. Strong understanding of financials and ability to analyze figures to determine profitability, sales trends, and other analytics. The ideal candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business-related field preferred. 2-4 years + of experience in customer accounts management, sales or buyer role. Preferably in the beauty, bath, health and retail industry. Bilingual Spanish is an asset. Able to travel for customer meetings and trade shows when required. Well-rounded experience with off-price, full price and specialty beauty, drug, mass, grocery and wellness products, is preferred. Familiarity with MS Office, specifically Microsoft excel.
