We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Executive Director or Senior Director of In Vivo Pharmacology
to join our Global Drug Discovery & Development team. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in in vivo pharmacology who excels at guiding multidisciplinary discovery programs and collaborating with global partners.
You will work cross‑functionally with teams in biology, DMPK, pharmacology, and program leadership to design robust, decision‑driving in vivo studies that support small molecule drug discovery from early ideation through candidate selection.
This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact leadership role where your scientific insight, strategic thinking, and collaborative approach will help shape the success of integrated discovery programs for global biopharma clients.

Key Responsibilities
Provide scientific leadership in in vivo pharmacology to support small‑molecule drug discovery programs, enabling clear, timely Go/No-Go decisions.
Collaborate with in vitro biology, DMPK, and pharmacology teams to design rigorous in vivo studies addressing critical project objectives.
Develop innovative approaches and troubleshooting strategies to overcome scientific and technical challenges.
Engage proactively with external partners to align scientific strategies and ensure successful project execution.
Present program strategies, objectives, data, and progress to internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership.
Stay current with emerging scientific and technological advancements to strengthen experimental design and project planning.
Contribute to ongoing expansion and optimization of Pharmaron's in vivo pharmacology platforms, recommending new methodologies and technologies.
Participate in evaluating new project opportunities and drive execution in partnership with global collaborators.
Candidate Profile Extensive experience leading in vivo pharmacology within a top-tier pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization.
Proven success in small‑molecule discovery programs, with leadership from early discovery into development.
Experience serving as a Pharmacology Project Leader or equivalent in multidisciplinary discovery teams.
Track record of supporting programs that advanced compounds into clinical development is highly desirable.
Strong expertise in animal models and in vivo experimental design.
Familiarity with DMPK, in vitro biology, and discovery-to-development workflows is an advantage.
Demonstrated scientific impact through publications, presentations, or book chapters.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams.
Ability to work effectively in matrixed environments and across diverse therapeutic areas.
Education & Experience
Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biology, or a related life sciences discipline with significant industry experience.
Equivalent experience demonstrating strong scientific leadership will also be considered.
