
Manager, Regional Sales

The Regional Sales Manager for the expansion team works in collaboration with the Regional Sales Directors in leading the field expansion team responsible for planning & implementing new market analysis, new branch blitz strategy and creating growth in underdeveloped markets. The Regional Sales Manager will prepare critical pre-blitz and market based data for the expansion team to represent Worldpac in the field interacting with our customers.
Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager for expansion team administers both short and long-range sales strategies targeted towards existing & future markets to increase company sales growth.
Responsibilities
Identify high potential markets or analyze new branch recommendations using industry and technical data to identify prospects & forecast sales opportunity
Lead and participate in the deployment of the field team for company initiatives to support growth as well as identify opportunities in underdeveloped territories
Provides senior leadership with essential market based information and prepares accurate and timely sales reports
Initiate new relationships with customers (automotive repair facilities) and strategic business partners through account setup and program overview while in the field
Communicate new products opportunities in markets visited with marketing & product team with supported financial rationale
Coordinates strategic planning and execution activities with Sales and Operations Teams, and all other departments as needed, to achieve objectives
Manage a team of 3-5 expansion team territory managers
Essential Job Skills
Microsoft Office and data analytics
Capability to use basic business mathematics and analyze business reports.
Attention to detail, organizational skills & ability to multi-task work under set deadlines
Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to respond to and interact with internal and external customers across all levels of the organization
Ability to analyze issues while think strategically to effectively manage and facilitate change
Working knowledge of automotive systems and traditional automotive aftermarket
Capability to conceptualize and execute sales programs and strategies
Requirements
4-7 years of automotive aftermarket related sales or sales management experience
Experience in managing a team
Travel requirements approximately 50-75%
High School diploma or GED equivalent minimum, Associates or Bachelors preferred
Able to effectively use Microsoft Office
Experience in effectively using Salesforce and Salesforce reports preferred
Intermediate skills with Excell preferred, knowledge and understanding of formulas and formatting is a plus)
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently bilingual is a plus
