
Technical Writer I

LATG is seeking a Technical Writer I to join our team. This is an entry-level role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to turn technical information into clear, usable content. You'll work with technical leads to develop and maintain documentation across a range of technical and administrative areas.
Key Responsibilities
Write and revise materials including reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, and instruction guides
Review technical documentation (blueprints, drawings, parts lists, specifications) and incorporate accurate details
Translate technical information, workflows, and procedures into clear, concise content
Ensure consistency in formatting, tone, terminology, and overall document quality
Maintain documentation files, records, and revision history
Incorporate visuals (charts, diagrams, images) to support written content
Assist with document layout, formatting, and preparation for distribution
Provide support for additional writing needs as required (internal communications, articles, etc.)
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree with at least 1 year of technical writing experience, or
High school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of technical writing experience
Experience working with and interpreting technical documents (e.g., blueprints, manufacturer catalogs)
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
Ability to present complex information clearly and accurately
Active Secret clearance (required)
Preferred
IAT Level II
CompTIA Security+
Basic Mac OS experience
