What impact you’ll make The Executive Site Project Director will lead a team of project management professionals to deliver on program Frontier execution strategy and play a major role in achieving the financial targets of GE Vernova Hitachi’s largest program. In this role, the project director will lead the coalition that is Engineering, Project Delivery, Supply Chain and Sourcing, Contract Management, Quality Assurance, Safety, Start-Up and Commissioning to serve as the single overarching decider, and to manage the cross functional efforts required to deliver on time, and on budget.
This program is new, complex, and urgent, with various stakeholders and partners. While the whole team is responsible for success, the Site Project Director will have the authority to make tradeoff decisions, resource decisions, and ultimately execution decisions so we can move with the urgency and efficiency required. Effectiveness in the role depends on the deep understanding of program development, costs, and risks, as well as cross‑functional leadership skills to drive vital focus and accountability for the things that matter most to the program success.
What you’ll do
Provide single-point accountability for delivery of a 5‑unit new nuclear site (five BWRX‑300’s)
This includes all aspects of project execution, including, but not limited to: contract management, resident engineering, procurement, project controls, business management, QA/QC, construction management and oversight, HS&E, and Start Up & Commissioning
Work closely with the ITO Lead and Construction Lead in developing the Project Execution Plan and Construction Execution Plan
Report directly to corporate Site Operations Leader
Provide all required progress reporting, as delineated by the Program Office
Provide single-point accountability for issue identification, management, and communication
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 15 years in other technical “power” related business.
10+ years of experience in the nuclear industry and 5+ years of experience in major project management

Pay Range For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $232,000 and $319,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Location Remote position (this role can be performed remotely).
