
Senior Cybersecurity Analyst – InfoSec Expert

Requirements
Extensive knowledge of computer networking, including TCP/IP protocols and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
Proficient with network security tools, including Cisco routers/switches and ASA firewalls
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, particularly NIST standards, ISO 27000 series, and FedRAMP
Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms like Splunk or SolarWinds for log analysis
Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks
Knowledge of encryption technologies and experience with identity and access management solutions
Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and system hardening across various operating systems
Responsibilities
Lead vulnerability management programs, executing assessments to pinpoint security weaknesses in IT infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SAN, and cloud environments
Develop, implement, and maintain system security plans (SSPs) in line with ISO 27000 standards and regulatory frameworks such as FISMA and DIACAP
Monitor network security using SIEM tools to swiftly identify and respond to threats while analyzing logs for suspicious activities
Manage network security devices including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs, and configure routing protocols to ensure secure network optimization
Coordinate incident response activities, applying best practices in cybersecurity and conducting forensic analysis
Fortify systems by applying hardening standards to various operating systems, utilizing tools for enhanced security
Collaborate with teams on cloud architecture projects across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, ensuring adherence to security policies
