(50% travel)
I’m currently supporting an international CDMO that is expanding its commercial presence across North America.
This is a newly created position focused on driving new business growth within the US market. The successful individual will play a key role in building new relationships across biotech and pharmaceutical organizations while contributing to long-term commercial strategy.
This is primarily a hunter role, but the right person will also support growth initiatives within selected existing accounts as the US function continues to develop.
The organization specializes in small molecule manufacturing, and a strong understanding of the end to end manufacturing lifecycle from early-stage R&D through to commercial production is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new lead generation and revenue growth across the US territory
Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the assigned market
Build relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical decision-makers
Manage complex sales cycles within CDMO manufacturing services
Provide market and competitor intelligence to internal stakeholders
Maintain CRM reporting and forecasting (Salesforce preferred)
Represent the company at industry conferences and trade events
Collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to ensure successful project execution
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of proven business development experience within CDMO / CMO

Must be eligible to work in the US
This opportunity offers high visibility within a growing international organization and the chance to play a foundational role in expanding the US commercial footprint. The company is seeking someone motivated to build long term success rather than make a short term move.
