Job Highlights Epic Contract Builder, with a focus on physician contracts, is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and testing of payer contracts with the Epic system.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in financial analysis, with specific expertise in physician claims and insurance contracts.

2+ years of experience in Epic contract build, managed care or revenue cycle.

Epic Certification required within the first year of employment.

Key Responsibilities

Build, test, and maintain payer clinic/physician contracts within Epic.

Translate payer agreements into system logic, including fee schedules, reimbursement terms, and payment methodologies.

Validate contract builds through testing and reconciliation against expected reimbursement and payments.

Support analysis of underpayments, overpayments, and billing issues related to contract configuration.

Collaborate with Managed Care, Revenue Cycle, and IT teams to ensure accurate implementation of contract terms.

Maintain clear documentation of contract build logic and assumptions.

Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization efforts related to contract management.

Support reporting and analytics related to reimbursement trends and contract performance.

Remote Work This position may be eligible for remote work in accordance with SSM policies. Remote work is not permissible in some states; Human Resources should be consulted for additional information and guidance. Candidates must reside in MO, IL, OK, or WI.

Job Summary Performs analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information.

Primary Responsibilities

Exhibit technical and operational proficiency in performing financial analysis.

Perform statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sources.

Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Serve as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Experience

Three years' experience.

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) to identify and distinguish colors.

Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

Rare climbing.
