Compensation Pay Range: USD $147,648.00 - USD $184,559.00 / Yr.

Overview Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director, Industry Relations & Contracting to join our team! Reporting to the Sr. Director, Industry Relations, the Director, Industry Relations & Contracting is responsible for leading the team of Rebate Contractors to support the maintenance and enhancement of effective relationships with all pharmaceutical manufacturers (Pharma). This includes negotiating contracts with respect to rebates and discounts for formulary inclusion to meet Navitus' existing and future needs. Leading the IRC team in P&T meetings and working with the Drug Information team will be critical in supporting the clinical/economic value that the Navitus Formulary provides to clients. Providing formulary decision support through appropriate cost modeling, rebate forecasting and budget impact analysis will be an ever-increasing responsibility as more client custom formularies are being implemented and contracted. The Growth on Indication Based, Value-Based and Medical Rx contracts will be of increasing importance.
Responsibilities
Proactively building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships throughout Pharma, customers, Navitus, and other business partners/vendors
Ensuring the appropriate Pharma sources and internal and external people/resources are in place to meet Navitus' current and future needs
Developing and successfully implementing strategies and action plans for establishing and enhancing a competitive Pharma contract structure for Navitus which meets current and future needs of Navitus and its customers. This includes ensuring that appropriate agreements, analytical processes, and audit programs are in place
Working closely with Navitus' operational teams to ensure that Pharma contracts with respect to rebates and discounts are fully understood, and proactively leading the resolution of rebate issues. Support Navitus internal and client external P&T processes with financial modeling and presentations
Leading Pharma negotiations and working with others to proactively seek and capitalize on opportunities to profitably expand the scope of high net rebates and discounts that are obtained for the ultimate creation of the lowest net cost PBM for Navitus' clients
Lead, train and develop the team of Navitus Contractors to allow for career development

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D is preferred. MBA or applicable degree or experience is desired
At least 5 years PBM/Healthcare plan experience is preferred; with a strong preference for individuals with rebate contracting and formulary management experience
At least 1 year experience in contract negotiation with preference in Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Part D rebate contracting (or equivalent experience)
Pharmacist should have or could obtain an unrestricted licensure in Wisconsin
Up to 20% travel time required
Valid driver's license required
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
